ARIX R&D, in cooperation with the Czech University of Life Sciences, organized a training course on professional competence for the handling of plant protection products. The program included preparation for obtaining Level I and Level II certifications and was intended for both novice and experienced agricultural workers.
At the beginning of February, ARIX CZECH HOP was asked to co-organize a visit by brewers from independent breweries in the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, accompanied by the agricultural diplomat in Ottawa, Mr. Filip Lameš , and the representative of the Czech Embassy in Canberra , Mr. Milan Vágner. We were happy to accept this task and on Tuesday, May 13, 24, we welcomed a group of approximately 25 people to ARIX in Žatec.
The 12th annual autumn workshop took place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, as usual, at the Červený vlk brewery in Boží Dar. As in previous years, we organized it in cooperation with the Hop Institute from Žatec.
On Monday, June 10, we welcomed a nice visit to ARIX CZECH HOP. Top representatives of the ASAHI Procurement team came to our company on their sightseeing tour of Europe to see in person the origin and cultivation of the raw material that is absolutely crucial for brewing beers such as Pilsner Urquell, Velkopopovice Kozel or Birell. They also had the opportunity to see the hop farms where the joint projects „Pro chmel“ and „Kytky pro chmel“ are being carried out.
On Tuesday, April 9, we welcomed a visit of brewers from independent breweries in the USA and Canada to ARIX, organized by agricultural diplomats from the Czech Embassy in Ottawa and Washington.

ARIX CZECH HOP, a leading grower of Czech hops, has become a partner of the Czech Republic’s presentation at the upcoming EXPO 2025 world exhibition to be held in Japan. The theme of the exhibition will be a Common future for our lives. Participation in the world exhibition represents a unique opportunity to present the qualities and potential of Czech hop-growing, without which even traditional Czech beer could not exist.
On Thursday, 12 October 2023, the brewery Červený vlk hosted the IXth annual workshop, which we organize annually in cooperation with the Hop Institute from Žatec. Over the years, this gathering of hop growers, brewers and representatives of related fields has become a popular and representative event, which, in addition to the above-mentioned professions, is also attended by representatives of scientific institutions and associations.
It has become almost a rule that in the post-harvest period, an annual meeting is held between our company and representatives of the Japanese brewery Suntory, our traditional customer, with whom we are connected not only by hop supplies, but also by projects in the field of hop cultivation on farms in Mšeec and Pochválov. This year the meeting was held on Wednesday, 27 September and the six brewers from Suntory were joined by representatives of ŽHC, led by Mr. Sokol and two of his colleagues.
